Physiomotion is the heartbeat of Jason and Kyndra Gray, MPT, who in 2004 decided to open a clinic with a convenient location where they could provide hands-on, one-on-one care.
While in high school, Jason Gray was playing soccer, enjoying the crisp country air in Petaluma, California, and spending many hours reading and researching the world of Physical Therapy.
A couple hundred miles away, Kyndra Gean spent her free hours away from the school of the arts working with children at Children's Hospital, dishing ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and spending many hours reading and researching the sciences.
Jason was awarded a scholarship to play soccer at Fresno State, where he shined both athletically and academically. He chose Physical Therapy as his career.
Kyndra was also awarded an academic scholarship to Fresno State, where she studied sciences and Physical Therapy, while working with the heart/lung machine in pediatric surgeries at Children's Hospital.
Their engagement came about one year after their first date. They were married a short time later. Both had earned their Master Degrees in Physical Therapy by this time.
Jason's skills helped his career to blossom quickly, while Kyndra grew in reputation and stature among the geriatric treatment facilities in the Fresno area. Both have been highly sought after, but both wanted more.
With one precious child in diapers and another on the way, Jason and Kyndra decided to fulfill a dream and open their own therapy clinic, where patients could expect to be seen in a caring, therapeutic envoronment.
The business grew steadily, thanks to the prowess of Jason's sister Erin as office manager in charge of billing, and the steady experience of Kyndra's long-time best friend Stephen handling the marketing and development of compliance literature.
After a short time, it was evident that Jason and Kyndra needed another helping hand. Wanting the most caring therapist they could find, they turned the clocks back to a favorite classmate, Jennifer Adame. Jenni had been working as a therapist and was self employed as a private Pilates instructor. Realizing the potential for utilizing the muscle-development tools proper Pilates can provide, and realizing the chance to work with a wonderful person and good friend, Jason and Kyndra invited Jenni to join the Therapy team. This teamwork has led to the development of our new Wellness Center.
After Erin had a bouncy baby boy of her own, Jason and Kyndra brought in another old friend, Julie Rosales as their front office receptionist and intake coordinator. Jason and Julie worked together at another large clinic in town, where Julie honed her skills at earning insurance approvals where many might fail. From there the business grew and Debbie was added as front office receptionist. Amanda Jones-Hazen was added to the therapist team after she graduated from Fresno State.
Intent on running his clinic the right way, where the patient comes first, Jason joined the Physical Therapy Providers Network to ensure exacting standards of therapy and to become accredited as a preferred provider for many insurance plans.
Together, this team of friends and family are here to serve you and to serve a vision given to Jason and Kyndra. "From our Family to Yours" has real meaning at Physiomotion. Call now at 222-PHYS to find out.
